Rather than simply connecting with the community, Caesars Entertainment engages at all possible levels from within their organization to integrate seamlessly within their communities’ governing bodies, economic, social and environmental life. The Caesars Foundation, established in 2002, is funded by a portion of operating income from resorts owned or operated by Caesars Entertainment. Caesars Foundation’s objective is to strengthen organizations and programs in the communities where their employees and families live and work, and to include their employees in volunteer efforts associated with the causes they support.
Live Life Forward examines Caesars’ HERO initiative, in which they encourage employees to take an active role in their communities. The HERO teams volunteer their time, expertise, creativity and passion to improve people’s lives. The Caesars Foundation is the largest corporate sponsor for Meals on Wheels, purchasing 59 fans and providing more than $5 million dollars for the organization. Caesars has also made the aging brain a big priority, donating $400,000 to launch the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas.
